28th November 2012

The weather has really decimated the national hunt fixtures this week, with no British cards surviving. As a result very little stands out today but luckily there is a Class 1 flat race for us to sink our teeth into.

18.00 Kempton

Harris Tweed always catches the eye on a racecard, but for the wrong reason and he looks set to disappoint again off top weight.  His record on the polytrack leaves little to be desired and the same can apply to Communicator. As a result this race looks likely to fall to course and distance winner ART SCHOLAR who can confirm placings with Communicator after beating Andrew Balding's gelding at Doncaster last time out. The Doncaster circuit really will have suited Communicator and today's race looks likely to benefit Michael Appleby's consistent charge and he will take all the beating here.  Little else catches the eye in this encounter, with Richard Hughes' booking unlikely to be enough to get Qushchi ahead here, so it seems left to Media Hype to give the main two the most to think about. 10/3 William Hill

Good luck!
