3rd December 2012
A really mixed bag of a weekend with plenty of winners on Saturday, including an additional banker that cropped up on Twitter during the course of the day in Bog Warrior. Remember to get the full service of The Horse Whisperer you must be following the Twitter page available at https://twitter.com/thehorsewhisp. That was followed up with three seconds on Sunday; disappointing but we move on and next weekend is already in mind with two fascinating races in the form of the Tingle Creek and the John Durkan where we will see Sprinter Sacre and Sanctuaire spar, and witness Sir Des Champs reappearance against Flemenstar. Consequently I'm sure the racing throughout the week will be average but here as always you'll be able to find the best bets for the day. Cheltenham Watch will also be updated after plenty of pointers came out over the weekend.
13.40 Plumpton
Mavalenta tops the racecard a few pounds ahead of her competitors and reverts to hurdles after falling over fences behind First Fandango. She returns to the career high mark that saw her comprehensively beaten at Aintree and she would be fancied if on a firmer surface. Although out of Montjeu who has had many successful soft ground progeny, she seems to perform best on better ground and is again overlooked. Madame Jasmine arrives in good form but is another one who has to step up and improve to land this. Twin Bud enjoys a pull in the weights in her favour to suggest she can reverse form with Madame Jasmine but instead I like BUNGLASHA LADY, who disappointed last time off nearly top weight at Ascot. That run however has been forgiven as she probably needed it. She will strip fitter for that and gets to race off a 3 pound lower mark which should be well within range as she won off 120 last year. 3/1 Boylesports, Stan James
Good luck!
