Hopefully you all had a profitable few days at Cheltenham and were able to pick up some winners from here. Although unable to find a winner on Friday, two were tipped on both Saturday and Sunday with prices at time of publication of 7/4, 8/1, 10/11 and 16/1 ensuring that everyone should have been able to get out of trouble at some point. As always there were plenty of Cheltenham hints this weekend and Cheltenham Watch will be updated during the course of the next few days. The national hunt train moves to Haydock this weekend for some of the big guns to renew rivalry in the Betfair Chase. Until then though as always there will be selections available on here for midweek racing.
14.10 Leicester
Act Of Kalanisi will be a warm order here following a decent enough start over fences behind Hadrian's Approach at Ascot. However none of the runners in this affair particularly excite and as a result I'm going to go for a value bet. Court In Session has the Champ on board but conceding weight to his rivals will be tough. Ciceron, a useful hurdler, didn't show as much promise over fences, and I'm going to take DUBAI CREST as an each way bet to run into a place here. He's switched yards from Nicky Henderson last season where he didn't perform too badly and representing the Cornwall's today I'm giving him a chance. 22/1 Sportingbet
13.20 Plumpton
He's no price, but BROADBACKBOB can be the latest Henderson novice chaser to score on debut. He was a really good hurdler last year finishing behind Batonnier when conceding weight on his last start after beating Cinders And Ashes earlier in the year. All this despite always looking a chaser and one to relish this switch to fences. Tempo De Cotte is the latest French recruit for Paul Nicholls and has already won over fences, but has to concede 7 pounds to a potentially smarter rival. 2/5 several
Good luck!
